I have a friend that has DD age3 who has outgrown her graco comfortsport. Her DD is FF and has reached the weight limit for the seat. I have two choices.....let her sit in a booster w/o a 5point harness OR let her borrow our truefit. My DH is worried that we won't get the seat back if we loan it out. Oh I failed to mention that they do not have any $$ to buy another seat.

What about loaning (ie: giving) her some money to put towards an evenflo meastro or something?
It'd be a lot cheaper than never getting your truefit back or getting it back in a condition you are unhappy with.

I lent a seat to my mother, my sister took it and trashed it... She offered it back and I was like
Keep it... no big deal! DH was livid til I told him what it looked and smelled like!

do you have big lots near you? if so, I know that the ones near me have had Cosco Apex seats.... for about the same price as a maestro
