As I was stacking wood today I looked over at our vehicles and caught myself thinking about how great it would be to have a Radian so that the middle lap belt in DH's car could be used by more people... Oh and a Frontier to harness nappers in the big van... And hmm... what's the tallest booster that doesn't need a headrest behind it?... Ooooo and when's the CA65 coming to Canada? ARGH! Now I want to collect car seats, LOL!!

You know you've got it badly though when you have the itch for a new car seat but aren't really interested in any of the ones available in your market

I want a Kiddy

Those Kiddy seats look neat!

Scary thing is, I can totally justify buying seats, LOL. My temporary fix of putting 6yo in the TF & 2yo in the Scenera will only work for a few months at the most. We're in the "big city" so I went to TJ's today and played with a Frontier. And a Radian. And a Keyfit :p. And a City Mini (yeah, I know, not a carseat). And nearly bought an NHL Turbo for DH's car :D.

I do have 3 seats "stashed" for BRU trade-ins, so I could replace those without actually increasing my total seat count .

I do want to sincerely thank this board, not only for the advice & info, but also for making me feel okay about having a lot of seats. I really felt like I should be getting by with 4 seats max like other "normal" families. If you'd told me a year ago that I would be okay with the idea of owning 8-9 seats (what I will need for my current "plan"), I'd have said you were nuts!

The fun part: we're planning to have more children. I'm sure my next "round" of carseats will be another huge improvement over the ones I have now.
