Question tell me about the rfing instalation on a TF

how upright can you get it?
do you need noodles for an infant install?
how might it compare to say a radian interms of front to back room?
how's the leg room?

As far as rfing leg room - we had it installed rfing in my parent's camry and DD could sit cross legged and comfortably at 4+ years old. She definitely couldn't do that in her Blvd at that point! She was upright enough to be behind the passenger with the seat pretty far back and the seat headrest on.

I have no clue on how it compares to a Radian, but how it sits and the headrest goes up, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes up less room.

I've never used it for a noobie, so never needed to worry about noodles or anything.

I've installed it with both latch and seatbelt rfing easily.

Noodles depends on the car. I needed five noodles for my TFP for Laine. Most cars, with a regular TF, would probably need a three pyramid, maybe less.

Front to back space for a newborn is about 2/3 that of a Radian. For an older child it's still often a lot less since usually you can get the TF far more upright.

The TF can go as high as 35 degrees.

Both the TF and the Radian have a lot of leg room. I don't know which is more. Laine's feet don't touch the backseat yet at 13.5 months. Maybe if she stretches and puts her toes out she can hit the back. In her CCO she can put her feet flat and push.

I used to own two TF and LOVED them but had to sell them because I needed to get 3 across:crying:
I believe that the TF used less room front to back then my Radians do even with the head rest on- I did not have to use any noodles on either of the Radian or TF's ..... they installed wonderfully in my 2008 Ford Edge. I personally would buy a TF over a Radian any day.... loved how deep the seat is !!!

This is our favorite seat, I would own too but I don't love the covers now...Its a very deep seat, my almost 2 yr olds feet touch but not needing his legs bent or anything.
