Yeah, it takes a lot of room. Which is fairly ridiculous because it doesn't have room in the SHELL-- it just sits forward on the base, requires the handle down, and requires 1.5 inches of space between that down handle and the seat in front.

I've yet to meet a car that it has enough room not to make the front seat completely unusable in when used properly, and have seen some smaller back seats where it doesn't fit properly at all because of that 1.5 inches rule. Unfortunately many parents choose to ignore the clearance rule, or leave the handle up even (and that handle is not reinforced; it is one of the ones that could shatter on rebound and injure a child.)

I thought so but my friend tried arguing that it is the same size as her SR22. The Discovery is not only long but wide shelled..Its some crap to it ain't worth the size. I think i'm gonna stick her in the TFP.

I must say I HATE Evenflo rear adjust infant seats! I loved my rear adjust Cosco designer 22 seat and would buy it again seeing as I only used the seat for 5 1/2 months it was totally worth it. Now it seems like everyone I know is buying Evenflo over the Cosco because the name on the seat..

I am now a firm believer that Cosco is better than evenflo on all low budget seats!

Oh and my friend leaves her seat handle up and the straps loose cause they're so dang hard to tighten!

Issabella out grew her SR 22 at about 11 months but was able to ride in the Evenflo until 18 months. She is 2 years old and *just* barely fits in it. She is 21 pounds

KD fits in the evenflo length wise but he weighs 26 pounds. He still had 3 or 3 1/2 inches over his head in his infant seat. I just wanted convertable seats lol..
