does she still have a lot of room?

Does she still have more then an 1in.

She seemed to have more room in the old Marathon then the new one. She is 28 pounds and about 36 in. tall

She's got about 1.5" would be my guess.

No surprise she's got less space here. The new ones are an inch shorter.

The old MA's were definitely better IMO! The one we would have easily gotten my kiddo to 4 RF- he IS short, but he had so much room left height-wise when we had to turn him b/c of the weight limit. :(

It does look like she'll have growing room yet, butt the new MA is a bit shorter shell, so it isn't surprising.

GL making her fit as long as you can! :)

I would have just stuck with the old one but we were rear ended and had to replace all our seats so I went with the newer ones :-( Now I wish I would have looked at other carseats.

I think you have a chance of making it to 3. It seems like it's been a while since my ds's torso has grown much - he turned 2 in July. They really do slow down at some point!
