What's the harness height on the ProSport? Reviews?

I've got a friend looking to keep her 48" tall son harnessed. He's even with the top slots on the Nautilus and just around the second to top slot on the Regent. He's six years old, 48lbs and 48 inches tall. Thoughts?

Probably won't fit, or if he does, won't make it long in the ProSport. If she likes the ProSport tell her to check out the ProBooster :)

Ditto what they said.

If she really does need to keep him harnessed, the Frontier 85 is probably the best bet since it has the tallest harness on the market at about 20". It's comparable to the Regent... it might even be a hair higher, but I don't know for sure, it's very close. It also makes a nice booster so when he does make the transition, she wouldn't need to buy a separate booster seat.

Hey there Jenny! She's going to go try in in a ProSport, ProBooster and Vivo with what's her name the Recaro engineer that works with Lew sometimes?

No, there are no special needs that would require a harness, I think mostly she thought she would get longer than barely six, and was prepared to go the distance, but has a tall kiddo with a long torso, and it's booster time before Mom was ready! Mom's a tech too :)

I've got a Regent she can use for a fair amount of time, he just cleared the top slot. A Frontier is not a possibility right now though.

And thanks for posting the database link! I had forgotten about it. My brain is full of baby thoughts, not car seats right now!! I'm going back to a check in two weeks and I've probably lost all of my previous knowledge. (11/20 in Davison Jenny!)

I'm sure you haven't lost all of it. Maybe it's like riding a bike. ;)

I wish I could be at that check, but we'll be in (or somewhere along the way to) Oklahoma for Thanksgiving. Bummer that I'll miss you!

That's too bad! I have a Thanksgiving that day, so I'll probably leave early, but I want to get to a check. I miss it, and I'm afraid it's NOT like a bike. I've probably forgotten everything! Or it's all changed since July!
