Just got back from our seat check, and I am very pleased. The 2 seats I had installed (Britax Frontier and RF RECARO Como) were perfect installs! Of course, thanks to my Car-seat.org friends!
We also moved things and played around for a bit with infant seats. I brought 2 with me (a Snugride and a Maxi-Cosi Mico), and between myself and the tech, we could not get a tight install in the 3rd row with seatbelt installs. Also, we had to move the seat that my Frontier rider was in all the way forward, and she was very uncomfortable.
So I think when the new baby gets here, I will move my Frontier rider to the 3rd row and install it with the seatbelt, and move the infant to the 2nd row captain's chair and install the base with LATCH (that option was a great install!). My only issue with this is will it be easy enough for my Forntier rider to get in and out of the 3rd row without being able to move the 2nd row seats very much since I will have 2 RF-ers in those seats?
Any suggestions would be great! My car is a 2008 Mazda 5, if that helps.
