How do you stand it?

I was reading manuals tonight too ;), and interestingly, the SnugRide manual also states to never use a second-hand or unknown-history seat.

you don't need to mock me. I understand that I don't know everything. I am trying to learn.

I really came here trying to make sure I was doing things right.. I am sorry that I have bothered you too much.

I won't anymore.

I'm not mocking you, merely proving a point. It was said that manuals need to be more clear. Well, they are clear. People just don't read them.

You came here for help, and you've asked a lot of questions. We are answering them, in multiple places, multiple times. It's just frustrating from our point of view when we take the time to respond to something, then it's blatently asked again in another spot.

I'm not trying to make you feel unwelcomed, however, it's just frustrating (for the both of us!).

I'm sending you a PM now.

It's not mockery. You have claimed that carseat manuals don't provide enough information for parents. I agree that they fall short in some areas, but there's really quite a bit of information in the manuals.

Edit: crosspost.

Baylor, you are going to drive yourself nuts worrying about other people's bad car seat habits!

For now I think the best advice I can give you, since you said yourself you are still learning, is to keep your own kiddos as safe as possible, and try not to notice so much what other people are doing, unless you are close enough to them that you can speak candidly about it.
