    best convertible for small NOOB?

I am planning on buying my best friend a car seat for her baby, that she is pregnant with. She doesn't use the bucket seat very often to carry the baby in and out of the cars. Her babies as newborns tend to way between 6 or 7 pounds. Is there any convertibles that fit newborns that little well?

The Graco MyRide should fit a little one like that quite well. The True Fit and Triumph 65 may work as well.

Graco MyRide is likely your best bet.

Another vote for the My Ride. Easy to install and use. Fits newborns well and will last a long time.
