I took the headrest off my captain's chair when Benjamin was a baby so the older boys could see him from the back bench. Well, we are getting the van ready to trade it in and I can't find the stupid thing! I KNOW I just saw it not too long ago! I think I put it in a "safe place." Wish me luck!

LOL, I know the feeling. We once misplaced one of our van's second row seats. Not just a headrest but the entire seat. We usually have the passenger side seat removed from our Sienna's second row for easier third row access. The first time we removed it shortly after buying the van, we were visiting my parents and stashed the seat in their garage. When we wanted to reinstall it a couple of months later, we assumed it was stored in our basement. We nearly tore apart our entire basement trying to find the darn seat before finally remembering where it really was stored. Speaking of which, I might need to get DH to schlep the seat back out to the van to drive extra relatives this weekend. It's really in our basement this time.

Hope you find your headrest and congrats on the new wheels. :D

When I traded my van in and was moving all my stuff over to my new car I realized that I had a headrest out of the third row. The dealer didn't care and they can get a replacement headrest for CHEAP!!! Don't sweat it and if you carseat is installed when you do the trade-in appraisal they most likely won't even notice.

woohooo dh found it! I was going NUTS! It was in a stroller I don't use for the longest time but I moved it because I wanted to use the stroller so I could decide if I wanted to keep it or sell it!

Van is all vacuumed, we even lifted the seats up! Now I just need to take armorall to the inside, clean the vents, get the outside washed tomorrow and we are good to go!
