Our non-mooing frontier 85 arrived today.

We got red rock, and I'll just make it moo when the covers become available. Even f I have to drive to North Carolina (isn't that where they are made?) to get it, this seat WILL moo.

Anyway, I couldn't bare to make E ride in the GN again for another long ride, so I went ahead and got it before her next GI appt. on the 4th.

I will have pics later of course. Just had to share my car seat happiness. Even got a little E'ism out of it. Since I'm in a small town and my name is unique, the fedex people, and UPS for that matter know us. Half the time when I order something, it will go to dh at the jail, or to my mother in law at her shop. Today it went to my MIL. So I told E, and we headed out to pick it up. I was lingering talking to MIL a big, and E yells "Let's get this baby in the trunk and ger her home so we can try it out!!!"

I think I've turned my child into a car seat nut too .

When I pulled it out, she goes "It's not a baby seat! Yay!" So that definitely nixed any inkling of getting a Moo marathon or RA.

Red Frontier it is. For now.....

If I got to order a frontier I'd have a hard time choosing between red rock and moo. And now the blue. So I think red will be awesome until the moo arrives!

Pics!

I realized after I took the pic that I hadn't cranked the seat back up after I installed, but I did before we took off.

This is ok right? The block thingy hanging off a smidge? It's also not touching on the outer edges, but the center feet like thingies on the block are.

Not sure what that look is about.

I swear you can not drive more than 10 minutes before she's out. And....looky! NO HEAD SLUMP!!!!

She is so cute! And I think hanging off the front is fine with the frontier. It is the nautilus that doesn't allow any overhang.

The overhang is fine... I've asked. She is so cute! She looks comfy. DS1 sleeps so well in his Frontiers.

No, of course it's not. Why would they actually release something when they say they are going to?

I had it pre-ordered with a ship date of 0ct. 15th. The day came and went and I got an email saying the new date was between Nov. 15 and Jan. 11th.

We needed the seat before even the earliest date, so I'll just get the cover when it finally does come out.
