as the title says: brand new britax preview stroller in unity blue.
so the saga began when we bought our britax esprit from albeebaby.com. we liked it because it was very lightweight (12 lb) which is, right now, the most important factor in a stroller since DW has to carry it up a flight of stairs, sometimes holding DD as well... it was a lot cheaper than a comparable maclaren ($50 versus over $100).
after a couple of walks with it, we liked it... but within one month, a wheel broke, and we sent the stroller back to britax. the CS was pretty good, once we got through on the phone. long story short, they sent us a new stroller, but they sent us a preview, since the esprit is no longer a current model.
we haven't even taken the preview out of the box. we looked up the specs online and it's just too heavy for us (18lbs) and we really have no use for a carseat-compatible stroller (the preview is compatible with the companion).
we're asking $75 for the stroller, SHIPPED. this is about $15-20 cheaper than the best price you can get online for a currently shipping preview in unity blue. (albee baby has it on sale for $99, down from $139). this will allow us to just about break even for our esprit purchase after accounting for shipping. we're not looking to make a profit (if no one is interested here, i'll put it on CL or ebay for a little more
for pics and specs, and an interactive tour, here's the britax link:
