Is Polarfleece 200 too thick?

I got a great deal on last year's version of these coats at the LL Bean outlet:

They are Polarfleece 200.

But, I do notice that they are thicker than my thinnest fleece jackets. Are they still thin enough? If I can get the kids in the seat without adjusting the harnesses, is it OK to use?

If not, that's still OK because I will be able to use them for stroller rides.

Yes. I haven't seen or felt those particular jackets before, but if you can buckle the kids into their seats with the jackets on without adjusting the harness (and the harness is just as tight on them without the jackets) then they are safe to use.
