Vent wants to be harnessed!

not sure if I have this in the proper forum but-today my 5 yo said she never wants to be boostered! She wants her harness

She is always spotting kids her age with no booster (never any harnessed) and saying wow their mom/dad isn't keeping them safe. I really thought this year she would want to be in a booster being that she is 5 and sees all the kids in the line at school being picked up (she's also in first grade so with bigger kids). Yeah I brainwashed her into car seat safety. She wants to be rear facing like her sister but she's 46in tall. Love that girl!
(yeah I haven't been here for awhile)

just wanted to add boosters are great. just kids who are smaller than her should be harnessed or minimally in a booster but there are kids in her dance class that have no seats and the girls are smaller.

I'm glad she's conscious of child passenger safety, but I think it does a disservice to kids to teach them that boostering (at appropriate age, size, and maturity) is less safe than harnessing. No kid wants to feel unsafe, and kids properly using boosters are indeed very safe.

Oh, she just comments when kids are not boostered or belted (we see it almost everyday). And she just hit 40 pds with clothes so she barely could be boostered because of her weight. Sorry for the confusion.
