Minor accident. Do I replace the GN?

I don't know what Graco's recommendations are, so I thought I'd give you the details and you tell me what you think.

I was sitting still in a drive thru line. Lady backs out of parking place into my front passenger side. Hits hard enough to shake our car. Knocked loose the plastic under the front bumper and knocked loose the fender. Took off the paint as well.

That's pretty much it. Nothing dramatic. The only drama came when she called her daughter to let her know she'd hit somebody (the car was her daughter's) and the daughter decided to show her a#@. She ended up cuffed in the back of the cruiser and back up was called. Lovely. My girls heard some very colorful language.

Anywho...is there reason enough to replace it? Or is this minor enough not to worry about it?

Graco says Any crash, that said if it were me I'd probably strip it and look it over. If it looks good and there are no stress marks, I think I personally would keep using it.

Would it make a difference for you guys if you were in an at fault state and the other person's insurance would be paying? I don't want to feel like I'm doing them over or anything. She said "It made my tubie catch." after we were hit. The only thing I can think of was that she was jolted enough to get her tube caught a bit either in between the straps or by the buckle or something.

I dunno. Part of me feels comfortable using it, but part of me would like to replace it anyway since it's Graco's rule so to speak.

If you're going to question it, and it's going to worry you, I'd just replace it. I'm not sure I'd lose any sleep if you *didn't* replace it, but since none of us were there to witness the crash, I'd go with your gut.

I agree... if it were a concern to me I would replace it. You were the one that was there and that felt/saw the accident, for peace of mind, it may be best to replace it :)
