Foonf???

Really, clek? Really? You're calling your new 5-pt harness Foonf?

Look, I'm all for a good time. I love that you're a happy-go-lucky company. I love that you don't take things (like the names of your products) too seriously.

It's not hard to recommend an "olli." It's a little strange recommending an "oobr," but it sounds more normal than it's spelled, so no problem.

But you honestly expect me to stand there, with a straight face, and tell a parent she should look into a Foonf? And you expect her to take me seriously?

She'll probably hand me a tissue and say gesundheit.

I read that to my mom and got some hysterical laughter. She is stright laced as they come and she bust out laughing although she is probably giddy because we are both tired.

:ROTFLMAO: I can see it now

Car seat tech-"Little Joey is to big for his current seat. I recommend the Clek Foonf."

Parent- "Bless you. Now what is the name of the seat?"

Car seat tech-"It's the Clek Foonf."

Parent(handing over a tissue)- :scratcheshead:"Bless you. I didn't catch the name of the seat."

Car seat tech-

I'm figuring on the price being pretty darn up there considering the price of just their hbb. That being said, I'm considering donating my plasma repeatedly until such time that this seat comes out, so that I can buy it and then proceed to tell people that my child rides in a foonf, a clek foonf.

Seriously, it would almost be worth it.

In German, funf (with an umlaut...that's 2 dots over the u) means 5, so that's the first thing I thought, 5-point harness. But it's still crazy, like someone got their naming ideas from Ikea :D

Yeah, they mentioned on their Facebook that Foonf=Five. Still doesn't make it a good idea, though.

Yeah. I mean, pennies in at at least one language sounds like, um, something else, an anatomical part. You can bet that country doesn't call their one-cent piece pennies... :p
