Car buckle hitting side of seat

I added this to my post about Regent install, but I wanted to make a seperate post about it, in hopes of getting suggestions. We have issues with Britax seats in my vehicle. Not as bad with the Marathon as with the Roundabout, but it is bad with the Regent. We have never tried other seats, as all we have owned is Britax, well and a Graco infant seat. Anyway, the seatbelt buckle, when the seats are installed and tightened, is right up against the side of the carseat, and that worries me. I am not sure if seat belt extensions would make a difference or what other options there are. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you!

Everyone's buckle is next to their Regent, it's ok :). Do you have locking latchplates that are tipped when going into your seats' beltpaths? That's really the only time to be concerned about buckles touching seats, because they can loosen...and it happens fast..install it, give it a firm shake at the belt path, and if the latchplate is tipped, it will loosen almost immediately. If they are staying tight, don't worry about it, and seatbelt extensions aren't tested or recommended.

:)
