My friend was giving her daughter and a friend a ride home yesterday from kindergarten. Melissa uses a spare booster seat for the other children who ride in the car. S. weighs in at 38 pounds, and her friend weighs about 50. Her friend 'Why do you still ride in a baby car seat?' S. 'I don't weigh enough to ride in a booster seat. A five point harness is safer for me.' I told her once that she was safer riding in a harness, especially until she hit the 40 pounds.

That's great that she can just come up with a logical answer and not be upset about it. I wish all kids and parents would take to safety so easily!!

YAY!! (but I hope her mom also told her quite bluntly that it is NOT a baby seat and that Melissa was right)
