Affordable MP3 players that are Mac-compatible?

I am thinking about an MP3 player for L&D... And at home all we have are Macs (older laptop and iMac)...

I don't want an iPod shuffle, because I want to see the title of the song (or what's coming up). I don't want to pay the $$ for a Nano or anything like that.

I was thinking perhaps after using it we'd pass it on to DD for car trips (I can only listen to the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel soundtrack so many times!).

This article from CNet mentions the Sandisk Sensa Clip, which seems to be in the price range I was looking at.... Anyone have experience with it or other Mac-compatible and affordable MP3 players??

Re: Affordable MP3 players that are Mac-compatible?

My kids all have Clips and we bought a couple for my Mac-using IL's last Christmas. As far as I know they've had no problems with them. You do have to mount it as a drive to Mac rather than using MTP mode, but otherwise it should work just fine. We've been super pleased with all our Sansa players. DH and I both have Fuzes as well.
