on the radio last week. I keep meaning to mention it here, but haven't had the time. I live in CT. Our booster seat law is up to 7 and 60lbs. Many parents think that at age 7 you don't have to use a booster anymore. The announcement basically asked a question like, "True or false: under CT law your child must use a booster seat with a lap/shoulder belt until age 7 and 60 lbs." Then gave the answer. "True or false: If your child is age 7 or older and weighs less than 60lbs they must still ride in a booster seat." and "True or false: it is safest for children to ride in a booster seat until they are 4ft 9 even if they are over 7 years old and over 60lbs." Obviously, I don't remember the exact wording they used, but it was a good thing to hear on the radio.
