Talk to me about CARES

I could just look on a website, but the info we get/share here is so much more indepth.......

Situation, date unknown as of yet

4.5 year old, 37-40lb child (weight fluctuates) needing to both fly and travel in a cab for medical appts.

I'll be flying alone, I could take my Radian, but if CARES is preferable, it would be easier.

I likely will have a few months to figure out car seats etc, but thought I'd get a head start!

Just because you CAN travel in a cab without a seat doesn't mean you should.. Take the Radian, or if your child is going to be able to sit in a booster by that point (date unknown?) then you could pack a HBB in two pieces into suitcases.....been there, done that. Obviously there are some other alternatives, but I'm hoping to eliminate the CARES for you... I suppose something like the CARES+GO, RSTV, etc, would be great...Sucks to be Canadian sometimes.

I appreciate your post! This is EXACTLY while I'm putting my feelers out now! When the time comes and the Dr's say, we'd like you to go on XXXX date, I want to have everything in order!
I'll probably just end up with the Radian, I'm just worried about me, alone with a 4 year old, suitcase, car seat.........in Toronto airport.......
