vivo vs. Pathway B570

Any thoughts? It would be for a seven year old who is smaller than average but not tiny (I think). My guess is around 48 inches and less than 45lbs. It looks like I can get a better deal on the vivo if first time customers at diapers.com can still get 15% off.

I'd go for the vivo... the compass is a pretty wide seat for the smaller ones... and even with the new guides for the belt.. I just wouldn't go for it for a child that small.

check your local big lots for vivos (call... cause it's not worth driving around) the one by me actually still has several.

Thank you. Is he really considered that small? He is a first grader and from what I understand is not terribly little compared to his classmates. I could be guessing wrong on the stats.

I'm looking up vivo reviews, and I'm a little concerned that people are saying their three and four year olds won't make it very long before they outgrow the seat! Anyone know what's up with that?

he's the same size as my daughter... she's in the 50th percentiles for height and weight... so not extremely small, but definitely on the smaller and slimmer side.

Just so you can compare, the vivo is my 6.5 DD dedicated booster in my husbands car. Sometime my 10 year olds sit in it (though it is pink so it doesnt make them happy) DS1 is 10 and 72bls and almost 5 feet tall. He still fits well in it. And I love the vivo much more than I loved my compass booster (did not like it so it is in my mother in laws car for emergencies) Hope this helps
