Leaning toward flying w/MA vs TFP. Thoughts?

I'll be flying by myself with my 2.5 yr old. I have a GoGoKidz that I know works with the MA, and I've read here that it works with the TF. Does it work with the TFP?

The TFP is her everyday seat, but I still :love: her MA. It's just a matter of the MA fitting better in Dh's truck.

I'm leaning toward traveling with the MA, simply because I know it will install easily in whatever vehicle we end up in. The only reason I can think to use the TFP is because it does give dd quite a bit more leg room. She's a 26lb peanut, so she fits fine in both seats.

Is there anything I'm overlooking in leaning toward the MA?

Oh, and I think I'm flying Continental, anybody had issue with them giving a hassle for rfing toddlers?

I've flown with an MA and owned a TF, and would pick the MA any day. It is easier to hold on to and navigate with compared to the TF. I think it would offer more hip room, too, for the person sitting next to it. Just make sure to either take the black plastic protector off the back when buckling on the plane, or recline the seat before trying to unbuckle it. It is nearly impossible to unbuckle the airplane seat if the lever is against that black plastic part.:thumbsup:

Oh, and mine only fit in one airport's x-ray machine when face down and in the upright position.

I'm hoping to install it rfing and not have to worry about bloody knuckles. :eek: I may need to use your tips, though, if they insist on her sitting ffing.

I was coming here to post the exact same question.. though I only have a RA50 (my spare seat) and my daughters TFP.

We are flying United internationally to Australia and will be away for 7.5 weeks.. I really want to take her TFP but im worried it wont fit on the plane.
