What puzzles the best (both RF)?

I have a Avenue and an XTSL. I need to put a newborn beside my almost 3 year old DS in one of those seats. My 12 year old will be on the other side.
I tried a Baby Trend Flexloc but can't get it to install with the seatbelt due to the super wierd base. I have a Safety 1st Onboard35 and it doesn't puzzle well at all not to mention I'm having a preggo moment freaking out about the cover not doing what I think it should.

So please tell what would puzzle well. Money is an issue, I need a seat about $120 or less.

MyRide is right around $120 and puzzles absolutely beautifully with a Radian when they're both facing the same way.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest-- put a MyRide next to the Radian. List price is $150 but you'll often find them on sale, or there are nearly always 20% off Babies R Us coupons available, which would be right about $120. It also fits newborns well and installs easily rear-facing in most vehicles.

Is it a lap-shoulder belt with the BabyTrend base? Can't get it tight enough? Try a locking clip.

I've tried the MR center with the XT outboard, no go, the MR is too wide to go in the center. But I haven't tried it outboard with the XT center. That might work better.

My back seat is pretty huge so take this for what it's worth... the XTSL center puzzles really well with my EFTA. REALLY well!

The Nautilus, however, does NOT. Period. :(

Put the XT in the center. I have a radian in the center in my Jetta and I tried a Myride at BRU to see how it would fit and it puzzled really nicely with the radian in the center and the myride on the side.
