From what I understand, the reason you can't touch/brace is because the sensor is trying to determine the weight/status of the front passenger.
So....... in a hypothetical situation... if there was never going to be ANY front passenger, EVER (ie, because you have a coupe and a RF Radian ), could you make a parental decision to touch/brace against the vehicle recommendations? Or would that still be a big no-no?
I guess what I'm asking is... does it only affect the front passenger, or could it cause something on the driver's side to malfunction as well?
