Question Will she outgrow MA65 by weight before RA55 by height?

I am still trying to decide whether to sell my MA65. We could use the money and the storage space, but I'm having a little trouble letting it go. I'm trying to be practical.

I'm hoping for a little help calculating this out. I think by the time she outgrows her new RA55 by height she will have outgrown her classic MA65 by weight (Rear Facing!) so I *shouldn't* be holding on to it. DD is 2.25 and she has about two inches of height growth in her RA55. At this age, I think that amount of upper body growth would last the .75 year until she is at least 3 yo, right? At her two year check up a couple months ago, she weighed 28 pounds naked. I'm assuming this was more accurate than our cheap home scale. From 2-3 yo don't they typically gain about 3-4 pounds? So that would bring her close enough to the 33 pound weight limit that I probably would not feel comfortable using it. I know there is no guarantee and her growth may vary or change, but do my logic and calculations at least sound plausible? Thanks for the help!

Of course, there is always the chance we'll need it for some reason, but we do have an extra seat right now for our second car and no one else who wants to put a seat for her in their car.

If I had to guess, I'd say she'll be very close to 33# (at least) by the time she reaches the RF height limit on the RA55.

I would guess she will gain 4-5lbs before she grows 2" of torso. If she gains 4lbs this year (pretty normal), she'll be at the rf limit with her clothes on for sure. You could hang on to the older seat if you like it though, I know I have trouble parting with seats myself.
