Honda LATCH limit?

What's the LATCH limit for Honda? I tried to switch DS's Maestro from LATCH to seatbelt, and yeah... its not happening. I've twisted the (not that long) belt stalks down as far as I can. I can get a rock solid side-to-side install, but as soon as I pull forward it moves several inches all over the place and can then move side to side. I played with it for a good hour the other night

Have you tried installing it center? Try that, or I can meet you somewhere and maybe 2 people cussing at it will make it be more obedient.

I can try center, but I dont think it will work because of DD's seat. Not to mention holy fighting batman with the 2 of them sitting next to eachother.

I drive an 07 Accord.

Did you try pulling the base out from the seat bight a bit, tilting the top back against the back of the seat, and then primarily tightening down (as opposed to back)? Also, if you're totally stuck, get it as tight as you can, mark the belts (chalk) and unbuckle; make it a bit tighter than that and put on a locking clip, then jump on the seat 'till you can get it buckled.
