Had to post this where folks would understand. Last week we were in Seattle for a wedding, and we had with us DD's Parkway SG, which is usually our second or carpool seat. All week I'd been working (struggling) with DD so that she would stay properly positioned in her seat... she's not a very wriggly kid but she does sometimes lean out to grab a toy, or start to slump in the booster when she's falling asleep. She would get especially mad when I'd wake her because the strap was out of position on her shoulder.
So while we were there we bought a book called [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Larry-Gets-Lost-Seattle-Skewes/dp/1570614830"]Larry Gets Lost in Seattle[/ame], about a dog that runs around looking for his owner in the city. At the very end the pair are reunited and there's a picture of them asleep in the backseat of a car. Guess what DD says? "He's (the little boy who owns the dog) not safe, he doesn't have a booster seat!!" And she pointed out that he was, indeed, slumped all the way over (albeit with an adult seatbelt) to cuddle with his dog. Totally cracked me up. :ROTFLMAO: I hope she continues to point out these discrepancies as she gets older.
