Random 2010 Radian Question

So, what is SK planning on doing when it's 2011?!? Are they going to change the name from 2010 Radian (or Premiere, etc) to the 2011?

Totally random question, but I'm curious if they're just keep changing it like cars ... or if there will actually be any changes, etc.

I'm a little confused- there's the radian 65SL, 80SL, and XTSL. No where in the name does it say Radian 2010.

ETA- Just saw that I am in the Canadian forum, so maybe in Canada they are labeled by SK as Radian 2010. But the following would still apply.

Some websites will say that a seat is a certain year- I've seen ads for 2010 marathons, 2010 radians, etc. Just means that the seat was manufactured during that year. It isn't like cars at all with new model years being different. However, if an ad states 2010, then you should be getting a seat manufactured between Jan 1, 2010 and Dec 31, 2010.

The 2010 Radians are not necessarily made in 2010. Mine was made in November 2009. The Canadian SKJP website does not call them 2010 Radians so I'm assuming the 2010 bit was being used by retailers to distinguish old stock from new when the new ones were released last fall. I wouldn't expect them to be called 2011 Radians next year. The Canadian SKJP site calls the Radian65, Radian Premier and Radian XT.

The Canadian SL seats are not labeled as such. They are labeled as 2010 Radian XT, etc. So I'm curious too,

The Canadian SKJP site just calls them the Radian65, RadianPremier, and RadianXT. No 2010, no SL.

That's because all the Radians have SL connectors in Canada as of the "2010" models. Which like another poster mentioned, I'm pretty sure was just used to identify the new model for people who were shopping online.
