I LOVE THE MY RIDE 65 !!!!!!!!!!

Holy Cow!!!!! I'm so glad that I finally ordered one after reading all of the great reviews here. I was convinced that DD had already outgrown it by height. I've tried it in Target and on the test bench at BRU multiple times. I had DS in it last year when it first came out and he could barely squeeze into it width wise.

But after ruling out the Britax 70s, the Complete Air, and the Radian, I decided to give it a try before turning my 35lb DD. And I am nothing short of thrilled. It is perfect for us right now. It'll buy us at least a few more months RFacing. THANK YOU GRACO!!!!!!

DD is 35", 37", 13.5" torso.

I do wish it was a bit wider in the shoulder area, but honestly she is riding w/o screaming at me about how its too tight. So we're both happy. I had a Complete Air for 5 weeks and she hated it. The SIP really made it difficult to get her in/out. I think for RFacing a bigger child, sans SIP is really the way to go.

It fits perfectly in my 2007 MDX. Gotta send big thanks to TechnoGranola for her persistent praises towards the MR65. It took me many months, but I finally listened. TYTYTYTYTY!!!!

I'd estimate remaining growth left at closer to just under 2". Its a bit hard to get the angles correct for measuring while simultaneously taking a picture.

We're still loving ours too! DD recently turned 4, is 35.5# and 39.75" and has just under an inch growing room yet! Not sure of my DD's torso height but I am assuming it's greater than your DD's since mine has less growing room.

I'd bet you've got at least a year left RF!

And doesn't it fit great RF in the MDX? It's so easy to install and sits just perfectly on the seat at the perfect angle.

For the life of me though, I cannot get an acceptable install FF. Not sure if you read my long thread on it, if not I can find it and get you a link if you're interested. But, if you have time, see what kind of FF install you can get. For me, if the base is flat on the vehicle seat, the front hangs off the MDX seat. If I ensure the base is not hanging off, then I cannot get it to sit flat on the seat, there is a huge gap at the rear of the base an Graco U.S.A. has said this is unacceptable (although Graco Canada said it was fine ). I believe I had to recline the vehicle seat fully as well otherwise the install was more awkward and worse. Back in May I spoke to a higher up contact in Graco and was promised that they would do a test install in the MDX and get back to me. They've never gotten back to me.

And I absolutely  that first pic! What a cutie!

I will give it a try in a few weeks. I'm so sick of moving carseats right about now. NEVER THOUGHT I'D SAY THAT :)

Although I'm not really worried about it. I'll probably just sell it when we are done FFacing and move her into the Radian or Frontier I already have. Or maybe I'll have another little babe to use it!

Thanks again. I'll let you know when I've had a chance to try.

No worries, take your time! Even if I could get an acceptable install, I doubt I'd use it FF as it's way too reclined in the MDX. I am hoping it takes her torso a year to grow the extra 3/4" and maybe she'll just be booster ready by that time! :) or maybe there will some combo options at that time for me to choose from.
