Okay, so with me in school and DH doing more of his work from home and it having been summer, I have pretty much taken over our 2007 2-door cobalt. Also, he's needing the van more for loading/unloading storage units that we buy and thereby, I'm finding myself using the tiny car more and more.
When I finish school and my extern and get working (hopefully December), I want to start getting to where we can get another minivan/SUV... and just use the Cobalt for commutes... but that's a way's off... and the kids are older and better about riding 3-across that car.
Anyway... Ruthie has been complaining A LOT about her fisher price booster that I've always loved for the car.... I love it because it is so narrow and can fit in the middle position between her brother's backless booster and her other brother.
Her complaints are valid... she doesn't like the lack of head support... The headwings are so shallow and lacking that she can no longer doze comfortably in the seat. I haven't figured out WHY she can't get comfortable... her brothers never had an issue and she used to do fine... but after noticing her several times (via rearview mirror and her brothers telling me) unable to be comfortable and her head keep falling off the headwings or bobble around (thank goodness for locking shoulderbelts, or this problem would be worse)
Anyway... I'd like to get a Compass booster for her because her growth has really slowed down, she's now in the 50th percentiles for height and weight... and it folds for easy stowing in the trunk and not coming apart (I'm spoiled by the Vivo) when I'm moving it... especially back and forth from the middle to outboard seats (for comfort and ease of buckling, if I only have two kids with me, I put her outboard)
Problem? I am worried it won't fit her well. I don't want to spend the extra for the one with the red guide things because I want to still be able to let her brothers help her buckle herself (she likes the independence)...
So... here is how she fits in the Vivo and the FPSV booster... do you think she'll fit in the Compass booster well (she likes the pink pattern one) or do I need to go with a turbobooster?
