Learning to install Radian 60sl

Hello.
I am new here.
We have a Radian 60sl. We do not own a car but borrow a 2007 Honda Civic occasionally and sometimes rent a car (usually a compact car).

I am looking for a way to learn how to correctly install the seat. I know I can go get it checked, but will learning to install it correctly once teach me to reinstall it again and again?
Because we do not own a car, and only rent or borrow occasionally, we are taking it in and out all the time.

I am just leary after reading that the majority of people do not install car seats correctly.

Our DD is 14months old, 25lbs and 33inches. She will be RF for another couple of years at least.

Find a good tech, preferably one from this this board and one who is familiar with the Radian. Explain to them that you'll be installing in a variety of vehicles. They will teach you to install the seat properly in a variety of vehicles, with LATCH or with belt.

As a tech, my normal MO is to teach the parents how to install their seat in the vehicle that they bring in. I assume that is the vehicle it will be in 99.9% of the time. If I'm told that it will be going in a variety of vehicles, I do a little more teaching about different seat belt systems and things they might see in various vehicles, not just the one present that day.
