3 across in a PT Cruiser?

Is this even possible?! We currently have a FF Radian and a RF RA50 (both outboard) and I *think* we could squeeze in another radian at this point, BUT we plan on buying a FN 85 for DS1 and a BLVD70 for DS2 sometime in the next few months. We don't currently need to fit 3 across, but we definitely want a third child, and fourth, possibly fifth... We just bought our Cruiser this year and we absolutely love it. I'm just planning ahead. I'd really like to get a Cocorro for the *someday* baby number 3 and in my dream world it would puzzle together perfectly with the FN85 and the BLVD70. Has anyone gotten 3 across in a Cruiser at all, and if so, what were the 3 seats?

The rental car company seems to think you can but with my kids, there was NO way! I had to go right back (after having to drive with my 5yo boostered in the front) and get the minivan I reserved.

Maybe with 3 Radians or 2 Radians and a CCO. Can you measure the width of the seat?

The manual says the hip room in the back seat is about 47". That doesn't seem right at all tho since I was able to get an SF Apex 65 and a Graco SS right next to each other for a few months and at that point it definitely looked like I could fit a narrower seat on the other side. I'll try to run out and actually measure it.

Well, today I found out that we're going to need to figure out if this 3 across will work by May:D Does anyone know if a BLVD70, a FN85, and a CCO work together to make a nice 3 across at all? If someone's gotten a good fit with those three seats then I'll keep that dream alive. If not, I'll probably get DS2 a Radian, keep the one we have for DS1, and then get the new baby a CCO.

Congrats!

It's possible, but my guess is that one of the Britaxes will need to go. I think the Frontier, Radian, and CCO sound much better.

Thank you ladies! I guess I'll just order the seats from diapers.com in February like I'd planned and if I can't get them to fit I'll do some returning until I find that magic puzzle:) If I didn't love our cruiser so much I really would just get a bigger vehicle, but I LOVE our cruiser!
