disappointing trip to BRU

So I have an expired 2002 Cosco backless booster and thought I'd bring it to the BRU trade-in, thinking I'd pick up the Harmony backless for DDs to try out (esp. after seeing it online in pink). Alas, the only backless boosters they had were $24 Turbos.

So, unless the other BRU within reasonable driving distance has it, I might just be stuck using the Cosco backless for things like this:

Backless booster aren't part of the Trade in Event at BRU.

The harmony literider only costs $13.50 at walmart anyway.

Well, a Turbo or a Cosco one would be. It's dependent on brand. I don't think Harmony is included.

You know about the feature that lets you check what's in stock at your local store using the BRU website, right OP?

oh rats, you're right, wasn't thinking about checking the brand list but now that you mention it, yeah I don't think Harmony was on there. the BRU site said "This item does not participate in the check store inventory feature. Please visit your local store to determine availability."

If the Harmony were on the list, you could only buy it at TRU. It's just so massive, I'd skip it. LOVE the Harmony LiteRider at Walmart, though :thumbsup:

I have not seen any wording to describe backless boosters as not included in the event, at my store

Does any place other than Walmart carry the LiteRider ? (not that I *need* another LBB - DD's have the FPSV's as backup boosters for carpool and field trips... maybe I'm just going through child-restraint-purchasing withdrawal since my most recent seat purchase was DD1's AirBooster from Big Lots in spring 2009. Right now the only thing I could really justify buying is a large RSTV b/c DD1 is over the weight limit of the small that we have - right now I'm getting around that by only having DD2 use the vest b/c she's still about 8 lbs. under the weight limit)

They are at the BRU where I work. Seen a few sell for very cheap with a trade in coupon.
