Teutonia T 35 Infant Seat?

I have never heard of this seat until I came across it today. Does anyone here have experience with it, know anything about it?

It's essentially a Graco Snugride 35 with some pricier features, like cushy covers. Here's a link from Teutonia's website, just in case you haven't seen this link yet.

It does have VERY cushy nice covers and cool colors. I was purring over the fabric when I petted it at KIM conference this year. But yeah, pretty much identical in other ways to the SnugRide 35 (which is a very nice, long lasting seat, easy to install etc., often recommended here.) The cover is the only real difference (and the line of strollers that coordinate with it.)

Okay, now the other question is: is the Graco 35 handle better and smoother than the regular Snugride?

We had a regular Graco SnugRide for our son and he used it past a year (at that point we just left it in the car - he's a small guy and I watched limits very carefully). The handle broke and wouldn't latch in carrying position after about 7 months of use. It was also very "jerky" and not smooth when trying to put it up and down.

Thoughts?

That should not have happened and you should have called Graco. That being said, I do like the 35 handle better.

We just got a snugride from a friend. The handle wouldn't lock into place either (it wasn't quite a year old). I emailed Graco. They said the handle can't be fixed. They sent out a return label, had me return the seat to them, and they sent me a new one.

I tend to find the handle on the SR32 and 35 to rotate smoother than the SR22.
