Looking for a long-term seat solution

We have 11-month old twins in Graco SafeSeats. They are still fitting very well in them (the girls are both ~ 21lbs and 30"), but the need for new seats is coming! BRU is having the trade-in sale and I'm thinking about trading in my older son's seats (an ancient Evenflo infant carrier and Triumph Advance) on two new convertible seats for the girls.

Car seat choices have changed a lot since my now-6-year-old son was this age, I would love to hear some recommendations from you all. Space is not a problem because the girls sit in the second row captain's chairs in our minivan. However, I really would love to have something that is on the "low" side, meaning not a lot of height between the bottom of the seat and the base so that when they are eventually flipped to FF, it's not a big climb to get into. Are there any seats that have a lower profile more like a Nautilus (which my son uses that's really easy to get into) but are convertible so they can be used RF?

Ultimately, I'd really love to avoid having to buy interim convertible seats (like my son'sTriumph Advance) before eventually getting something that goes all the way up to 65 pounds (or we can go to a booster) and hoping that that seat also is low profile so it's comfortable for when they are big enough to get in by themselves.

Thanks in advance!

Safety 1st Complete Air is very low profile and will likely last them until booster age. Radian is not always available at BRU but it is also low profile and will last until booster age for most children. Ditto to the First Years True Fit.
Even with a 25% coupon, you can often find better deals elsewhere.

I agree with Splash. Those seats will likely fit your girls rear facing until 4 or older and forward facing until booster age. And I really like the cover options on all of them

What they said about the seats... But I have to agree that the 25% off deal isn't all that great. Even with the 25% off I found the seat I was looking at cheaper at Target and Albeebaby.com. If they are fitting in their current seats I wouldn't rush out and buy new ones just because of this "sale"
