Anyone ever seen these?

These were recommended on another board as a safe way to get an under 3 child from the airport to the cruise port...has anyone seen any of these?

One is from China, I'm assuming not US approved.

I had the first one for a cruise trip we did. It was an unmitigated disaster. DS liked to arch his back then, and as soon as he did, he and the 'seat' ended up flat on their backs. I couldn't figure any way to install it securely. :shrug-shoulders:

The second one looks no better than attaching your child to the seat with cargo tie downs.

I remember the tote n go from years ago. I thought it looked awesome, but never did buy it. I've read here it's really hard (nearly impossible) to get it installed properly.

I had one of the Tote N Go seats. It was a great idea. It was nearly impossible to get installed correctly. I took it with my on a trip with my almost 2yo (free airfare). That was before I knew better. It took forever to get it installed tight and yes, as pp said, she sat down, arched her back, and the seat flipped right out from under her. I sat next to her to keep her from arching but I'd hate to think what would have happened if we'd been in an accident.

I actully played with mine one time and used a LATCH strap off another seat to install it. It was so much easier and went in so much tighter. I called the company and asked if that was okay. They said because there is no top tether, you cannot use LATCH.

I wouldn't waste my money on one.

Would the safety first go work in this case? Or in reality a scenera, while a bigger pain to haul, at least it's safe!
