Ooh that's my favorite thing to do when my dh washes my wool sweaters and they come out in teeny tiny sizes from the dryer.

We have a few nice pants for the kids dipes, and the body of the sweater I've managed to make a wrap cover too..

My dd had a pair of pink cashmere pants last winter... I miss that sweater!

Cool! Maybe I'll find a suitable sweater and make some for my cousin who is expecting (and is thinking of cd'ing).

I've made a bunch of these from those directions. They are so fun, easy, and the results are fantastic. That is, until you get the flu in January and helpful dh throws the kids clothes in the washer... then the drier. I'm not sure who was more upset at the resulting teeny tiny pants, me or dd. On the bright side, since he provided me with the perfect layette, he's agreed to having a baby #3!

Glad I'm not the only one! I finally got two baskets for my wife, one is for clothes that I can wash "my way" and the other is for her to wash "her way". I just don't see the point of owning clothes that can't make it through the dryer.

Actually, we have an agreement now. I wash DHs shirts and dry them and he wahes mine and the kids and drys them so now we have three clearly marked baskets "dry" "no-dry" "diapers". It seems to be working out great so far.

I love the pattern but I don't have any sweaters. It is 86 degrees out side right now and our very *rare* lowes in the winter are only in the high thirties or low forties. My kids usualy run around in just their diapers and robeez (and lots of sunblock and bug repellant).
