Roundabout 55

So I was at BRU today looking at the new seats. The 55 seemed to fit dd just like the MA65. She had exactly the same amount of shell over her head so now I'm considering it over the MA70 since I'm only going to be using it rf'ing. It has appeared to have all the new features (minus the headwings, and no thread harness) of the 70's without the shorter shell.

Does anyone have exact measurements on it?

If there's a difference, it's an inch or a bit less (like 24" instead of 25" for the Marathon, plus the width is wider to allow them to sink down a bit, and the headrest on the MA70 confuses things a bit).
The new seats have been completely redesigned to minimize head excursion and have deeper thigh area, why wouldn't you want to use it forward facing? With the safecell stuff and the rip stitch tether, I'd think it'd be an excellent choice for FF later down the road.

It must sit just a little different than the MA65 then b/c she had exactly the same amt of room in the 55 and the 65 but an 1" less in the MA70. I was surprised, I thought that it would fit closer to the 70 but now I wonder why spend the extra money when I really probably need the extra rf'ing height more.

It's not that I don't want to use it ff but we have seats to pass down so she just probably won't use it ff.

We chose the RA55 over the MA70. Although I figured it was just an illusion, it seemed like DD had more RF growing room in the RA55 over the MA70, but what I really liked was how much easier it was to tell how much RF growing room she has left without that head piece in the way. Considering we plan to use it to the limit, that is important to me. I don't expect to be able to use it FF given the low top harness slot on it and would prefer the other models for that, but I had to get what works best for us now, especially given it was so much less money. Since my DD is already 2 years old, I know going into it it won't last a long time, but we can probably resell it and it allows us to move our front seat back inches more than with the MA65 and that is priceless! ;) I just got it last week and it is hard to know how much you will like a seat until you really use it, but so far after using it on several outings I am liking it. We have the smokey pearl. It looks a little plain next to our daisy GN :D, but it is very soft and I love the polka dots. DD likes it and slept soundly in it today. I hope this helps!
