How do you bring up extended harnessing?

I was talking to a friend this past week. We both have just turned 3 year olds and we both had babies this spring. She was saying that she hopes the baby can stay in his infant seat for at least another 6 months so that her older child will be big enough for a booster so that they can give the big seat (convertible) to the baby.
I was thinking of sending her a few links (to the Nautilus and Frontier) and just telling her what we did - say something like "I was thinking about our conversation the other night and I wanted to tell you what we did so we didn't have to worry about A being big enough for a booster and could pass our big convertible seat down to B. We bought this seat (a Nautilus) and this way she can be in a 5 point harness until she is mature enough for a booster, and the great thing about this seat is that it converts to a booster once she is ready. Just thought I would share another option so that you don't have to worry about H being big enough/mature enough for a booster before C outgrows the infant seat."
H is definitely big for her age (just turned 3 and wearing 5t clothes) so I am guessing her mom is thinking of boostering as soon as she hits 40lbs.

Anyway, does that sound ok, or should I bring up other things? I have just been stressing about this for the past week since I talked with her.

So funny, I posted a question like this too last night, can't find it on the board though, looking forward to the answers!

I think that's a good approach. You might also want to mention the Maestro as a seat option also since it's lower priced than the Nautilus & Froniter.

I thought about the Maestro, but because her daughter is so big, I don't know how long it would last them. Or they would end up using it as a booster long after it didn't fit anymore.

I wrote a very similar an email to a lady I just met that is buckling her 3 year-old under her arms because "she's so tall" (I think she's in a ComfortSport). I just got an email back thanking me repeatedly and saying she'd like to learn more. So, yeah, I think it sounds good.

Under her arms  I am glad she was receptive about your suggestions though!

OP, that's pretty much I would do. If I managed not to say something to the person during our conversation.
