Short-term seat ideas

I'm slowly coming to accept that DD has just about outgrown her Coccoro. :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

So I might be looking at getting a new seat, but I'll only need it for a few months. DD is 17 months old, has a longish torso, and weighs probably between 22 and 25 pounds.

Since I don't need it to last long, I don't need anything with a particularly tall shell or high RF weight limit. I'd also not like to spend a ton, since, again, I won't need it for too long.

It would be installed in a Honda Pilot, if it matters.

My only other criteria is that it not be a Dorel product. (Based on principle.)

So, what should I get? I tend to pay attention to the seats that offer longevity, so I'm not really sure what else is out there.

A clearanced out Comfortsport? My Target has had them on clearance for awhile. Or an Evenflo Titan? Could you borrow one from a friend whose child moved to a booster?

Walmart usually has the Titan Sport for $80. Or a $100 RA50 at Target this week. Someone posted that if the RA50 is sold out it's being substituted with a MR for $94.

Hmm, all good ideas. Anyone know how the Comfortsport compares to the Coccoro? I'd almost feel guilty buying one of those, like it might encourage the production of more.

My 2y4mo daughter with a longish torso (3T shirts) still has 1.5-2 inches of growing room in her ComfortSport. She's 35ish inches tall, short overall, but short legs.

Dude, they're like roaches. They're never gonna go away.

I think the cheapest thing you're going to find right now that's not Dorel or a Crappysport is one of the cheap Evenflo seats like the Titan or the RA50 deal.

Shoot totally forgot that the Avenue is dorel, sorry!!

I had a Titan Elite as a program seat once. Had better specs than the Comfortsport (ie, 35lb RF limit and slightly taller shell)
