Question SS1 Strap Height

Matthew is currently riding in a SS1. Today when I put him in I realized that his shoulders are pretty far above the bottom slots, far enough to cause the straps to fall off his shoulders despite being as tight as I can get them. I tried to move the straps up to the next height, but that was too far above his shoulders.

He will be 7 weeks old on Monday. He has a MONSTER torso and he is really long.

Has anyone had this issue and what can I do till he grows enough that he fits in the next slots?

If the slots are far enough below his shoulders that they are physically falling off the shoulders, I wouldn't have a problem moving them up. :)

This has been brought up before on RFing convertibles and the general consensus was that it was best to move the straps up, to keep them from falling off. In other countries, the general rule is "straps above shoulders when RF and FF", so I'd have no problem having the straps above the shoulders in cases like this.

Thats good to know! :)

He seems really uncomfortable when I put the harness on him. It pulls down alot on him. I will try moving them up and see if helps him cry less in the car. Hey, it is worth a try.
