does anyone have pics of little babes (or dolls) in a complete air? I'm thinking 6 months or younger. Just curious how it would fit.

TIA

The bottom harness slots are quite high (10.25"), so it tends to not work well for young babies. I don't have any pictures though, sorry!

Yeah, it would have fit my third at about a month old, but she outgrew a SnugRide 22 before 2 months and would have fit a Britax old-style convertible from birth. So, most kids will not fit it until they're about ready to move from an infant bucket (or have grown into it from another convertible.)

What she said. I don't have any of him in the CA, but I do have pics of my son in the AOE (same basic shell and slot height.) around 3 months old. He isn't *technically* big enough to use the seat yet.
In general, I would not expect to be able to use a CA for as baby until they are at least a month old, even if they are ginormous...and as many as 6+ months old if they are small. If you wanted to go by strict rule-following, my son did not technically fit into the CA until he was about a year old....that's when his torso finally became truly even with the bottom slots. But I used it with him being slightly under the bottom slots since he was several months old, since it's not like he was going to ramp all the way up to the top of the shell.

Not the best picture, but here's S at 8 months, 8 inch torso, about 14lbs, she's no where near the bottom slot position and you can see how it pushes her head forward. ETA: for reference this was a 6 month carters jammie with a 6 month carters fleece jacket on top, both together was still slim, although in the car i'd probably take off the jacket (fleece on fleece is bound to get warm), she's in a CD in the picture.

My son at 2 months:

The slot was just a hair above his shoulder (uninstalled in the house).
And 6.5 months:
