Wow! What a deal?!? "Can last your child infancy to preschool years???" Come on people! Does anybody know what year these things expired?

This is the same style seat my now 15-y.o. daughter rode in when she was ages 1 to 3 ('92-'94). Yikes!

Oh geez.

"Hi there. I'm a child passenger safety technician and I noticed your auction. The seat you have is a neat old seat, but nowhere near acceptable for precious cargo. That seat, the Fisher Price T-shield carseat (they apparently went overboard in the naming department.

) was last made in 1995. That means the seat you have expired in 2003 at the absolute latest. In a collision the harness may rip right out of the seat frame and eject or strangle whoever is in it. Plus T shields are remarkably unsafe, since you can't get a good tight fit where you need it. They were neat in the day, but that day is long gone.

Here's a good video of a ten year old seat. Keep in mind that yours is 12 years at the possible youngest.

She has enjoyed FFing more from the first time she tried it. She didn't like when I turned her back around last summer, but she understood why I did it, and so didn't complain a whole lot. But she was THRILLED to be turned back around in my truck (in my husband's car she's been FFing for a while, logistically it's a lot harder for her to RF there, so since that's her secondary car, we left her FFing). She was upset not to be in the middle, but I removed the passenger side headrest and now all is good.

Just looks really weird, like someone chopped my seat off at the neck.
