"Hi there. I'm a child passenger safety technician and I noticed your auction. The seat you have is a neat old seat, but nowhere near acceptable for precious cargo. That seat, the Fisher Price T-shield carseat (they apparently went overboard in the naming department.
) was last made in 1995. That means the seat you have expired in 2003 at the absolute latest. In a collision the harness may rip right out of the seat frame and eject or strangle whoever is in it. Plus T shields are remarkably unsafe, since you can't get a good tight fit where you need it. They were neat in the day, but that day is long gone.
Here's a good video of a ten year old seat. Keep in mind that yours is 12 years at the possible youngest.
