Question RF Legroom in the new vs. old Britax convertibles?

Are others finding the new Britax seats have about the same leg room as the old ones? CPSDarren noted in his review that there was only a small difference and it could vary by car. As far as I can tell so far, I'm not getting more leg room with the new seats. This is not a deal breaker for me unless it was worse, but it is disappointing.

I didn't notice a huge difference when I tried one out at BRU. There might be just a little bit more, but not enough to make a huge diffference if that is an issue for you.

I was really hoping the new Britax seats would be all that they were hyped up to be, but I find myself really dissapointed in them, especially when there are now so many other seats that offer higher rear facing limits as well as taller shells and more leg room for less money.

When I tried it out, I noticed that there didn't appear to be an improvement over the old seat and my child looked quite crunched up compared to his spacious other seats (My Ride, Radian, Complete Air).

Not a deal breaker for me, but meh, the seat is a disappointment in so many aspects it's just one more notch on the fail whale.

When I tried my 17 mos. old DD in a variety of seats at BRU, the new Britax seats provided the least amount of leg room for her, I was very surprised and my DD is a shorty. It would not be on my list to purchase since we want her to be at least 3 to RF.

My DD does have more room, compared to her old MA. In my Escape, her legs are barely touching the seat, while in the older MA, they are touching and her knees are bent a little. IMO, there is more room, but again, this is just my experience. I love the Marathon 70, but I am caught in the bubble, so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

LOL. I understand. Even though I have my share of disappointments with them and their new seats, there are still features I , and wish our tall DD would fit their seats longer. Good to know someone got more leg room. I think it's about the same in our car, unfortunately. On the good side, DD will probably outgrow the seat's shell height before her legs become too uncomfortable.
