AO/AOE, FF weight limits and top slot use.

On the AO's and AOE's, if the weight limit is 40lbs FF, is the top slot always going to be non-usable in harness mode?

Same question-- If the weight limit is 50lbs FF, will the top slot always be usable for harness mode?

Or, does it all just depend; some will be allowed for harness, some won't.

There is one 40# AO(E) (may be expired now, not sure) that does not adjust with the headrest but has actual harness slots and a harness that requires rethreading. That one can be used with the topmost slots. All 40# AO(E)s with the no-rethread harness that adjusts with the headrest cannot be used with the harness in the top setting.

50# AO(E)s can be used with the harness/headrest at the top setting.
