Question I need some CPS tech liability help

Ok so I'm planning on taking a tech certification course in October :D I am going to a board meeting tonight for my local ambulance service because I will be volunteering under them as a car seat tech. My question is; what kind of liability insurance should they give me? Is there something specific I should be asking for? ANY help is greatly appreciated

If you will be volunteering regularly, they should add you as an employee of some type, even if there are no benefits or compensation. For example, hopsitals, health departments, police departments and other organizations often have some type of auxiliary or volunteer designation that would cover you with their general liability insurance. I'd be very reluctant to volunteer regularly with just a handshake kind of agreement, especially if they are a for-profit corporation.
