Dumb question

Can I use a locking clip with a Frontier? Dd is about 38 lbs so she's approaching Honda's 40 lb LATCH limit, and I'll need to change to a seatbelt install soon. Locking the seat belts turned out to be a weird proposition, so if I have trouble locking them, am I able to use a locking clip?

Yes, although you will either need to buy one from a store, steal one from another seat, or order one from Britax.

What is the issue with simply locking the belt
