NASCAR - Sweet!

Nick just asked to watch the car racing. I can't stand it, but whatever. I am sitting here online while he watches it and I hear them mention child safety. I look up and they go to these two guys who are plugging a NASCAR harnessed child seat! It looked kind of like a suped-up Nauti!

They mentioned the high misuse rates and high death rates and the importance of proper use!

I am so excited to see something like this. Is this new? Has anyone used this seat?

I am not positive but it may have been a Recaro ProSport that you saw... As Recaro is who makes the seats for the Nascar cars...

They have a Dale Earnhardt Jr seat (had to look up that spelling ). They seem to be quite a lot like the Dorel seats.

Wow- if my kids weren't to big for that seat- I would so buy it lol. We are big Dale Jr. fans!!

It seems that the Spiderman seat has been discontinued? I wonder why...

When the salesman was here, I thought he said they had some engineer or two from Graco.

I think I remember that the top slot is only 16 inches. I looked up the cost- $180. I'd rather buy a nautilus, but then I'm not a racecar fan at all.

Excellent site to book mark and use as a picture once in awhile for kids who insist that harnesses are for babies and not them!!

I had to use the "race car drivers" analogy when a few kids decided to call my (then) 5 year old a baby for still using a harness in his seat. Telling them it's the same style belt that the professional drivers wear seemed to work pretty well for me
