My MA70 is here!PICS added!

My first impression is that it's very soft. :D The Allison cover is very plush, like my Cowmoo. DD climbed right in and seemed very comfortable. The recline lever feels almost exactly like the EFTA one. The handle actually seemed almost rubbery or something. I got it adjusted quickly. I read the whole manual right away because I wanted to take the HUGS off, but I had read on here that you couldn't with the new seats. However, I found where it says they are optional rf and I took them off. In the house, DD seemed to not have much height room, but when I installed it, it looked like she had maybe 4-5" above her head. DD is 34" tall, mostly torso. It installed easily, just like my old MA. I haven't tried the lockoffs, but I will a bit later. The harness adjuster is awesome!
We went out and used the seat tonight. The harness adjuster is worth the extra $. I am not even kidding. The slanted straps do take some getting used to. I also installed it in DH's truck, an 04 Dodge 1500. Our old MA did not fit behind the drivers seat with DH's seat where he likes it. The new MA fits perfectly(DH does not get my new MA! LOL! He gets the old one, moved to the passenger side). Overall, I really like the seat. It's very easy to use and I think it will get us to where I am comfortable ff. I am just not a "rf until 4 at all costs" type of parent.

She has more leg room than her old MA. However, she is not cramped in the old one either. She has short legs. I do love the deep sides.

I think she looks very comfortable in the seat.

Thanks for sharing. Cute pics! I didn't like the Britax photos of the allison cover, but I like the IRL pics a lot. It looks cozy!

So the harness adjuster is really easy? You mean the one you pull, right, not the continuous no thread harness height adjuster? When I tried an RA55 today at BRU (another thread about that), I was having some trouble pulling the harness adjuster and I have no idea why.

Yes, the actual tightening/loosening is a breeze. I heard the RA55 has the same adjuster as the older MA's, which was a tug, tug, tug motion. This is just one, smooth pull.

Oh, I had thought the new ones all had the same adjuster. Thank you! It's hard to keep track of it all. It's still strange that I had trouble with it though because that tug tug kind is the one I use everyday. :shrug-shoulders:

My RA55 has a smooth harness adjuster (I'd call it smooth...it's not like my MA and BLVD...but definitely not as buttery smooth as my Signo). I did notice that it is harder to adjust/pull it when installed vs when it was in the house.

Crud, I had pretty much written off this seat, but now I could be swayed. Though I don't have the money to do it right now.
